MixReels - Video Editor Terms of Use

1. Introduction

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern the MixReels mobile application and every feature or service it offers. By downloading, installing, or using MixReels you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using MixReels.

MixReels is developed and operated by our team. Unless you receive prior written permission, you may not copy, decompile, modify, or distribute the app or any part of it, nor may you use MixReels trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property in any manner.

2. Services and Fees

MixReels offers both free features and certain premium paid features. Core video creation and editing features are free to use, while advanced features and AI value-added services (such as AI-generated lyrics and music) require a one-time purchase or a subscription. We may add, adjust, or discontinue certain features from time to time. Whenever a fee applies, the price and terms are clearly shown inside the app before you are charged, so that you can decide whether to purchase.

All payments are processed through the Apple App Store and charged to your Apple account, subject to Apple’s applicable terms. Refund requests are handled in accordance with Apple’s policies.

Some paid services are offered as auto-renewing subscriptions. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, the subscription renews automatically and the applicable fee is charged. You can review or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple account’s subscription settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. During an active subscription, we grant the corresponding benefits (such as subscription credits) for each billing cycle.

Credits are an in-app virtual balance used for AI value-added services, obtained through a subscription grant or a separate purchase. Credits can only be used within MixReels, have no cash value, and are non-transferable, non-redeemable, non-withdrawable, and non-refundable except where required by law; credits have a validity period and expire when it ends or when your account is deleted. For the detailed rules on how credits are obtained, consumed, priced, and expire, please refer to the Credit Rules provided in the app.

3. Your Account

The core video creation and editing features of MixReels can be used without an account. If you want to access account-related services, you can create an account by signing in with a supported third-party provider (currently Google or Apple). Sign-in is optional, and at present it is not required by any specific feature.

You are responsible for the activity that takes place under your account and for keeping your third-party sign-in credentials secure. You agree to use only an account that belongs to you and not to impersonate others or share your account in a way that violates these Terms.

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. After you request deletion, the account is deactivated immediately and the associated account information is retained for 30 days before being permanently deleted; you can restore the account by signing in again during this period. We may also suspend or terminate your account as described in Section 11. The handling of account data is further described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable Use

You must comply with applicable laws and regulations when using MixReels. Do not use the app to create, upload, share, or distribute illegal or infringing content, and ensure that all assets you import or publish are properly authorized. You are solely responsible for the materials you use.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, attempt to access the source code, or create derivative works of the app;
• Insert malware, use automated scripts, or otherwise disrupt normal app operations;
• Impersonate others, abuse feedback channels, send spam, or engage in destructive activities.

5. AI-Generated Content

MixReels offers features that use artificial intelligence to generate content such as lyrics and music based on the prompts, keywords, or other input you provide. These AI features are powered by our own and by third-party AI platforms and deep-synthesis models, including but not limited to DeepSeek, Google Gemini, and MiniMax. Your use of them is subject to these Terms as well as any applicable third-party terms, and you acknowledge that all generated text and audio is produced automatically by AI. We make no express or implied warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement of any generated content.

When using AI generation features, you must not input, generate, or attempt to generate content that is:

• Politically sensitive, or that incites, endorses, or otherwise relates to prohibited political activities;
• Pornographic, obscene, sexually explicit, or that sexualizes minors;
• Violent, hateful, discriminatory, harassing, or that promotes terrorism or extremism;
• Illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.

You must not use prompts or techniques designed to bypass content safeguards. We may use automated or manual review to filter, block, or remove input and generated content that violates these Terms, and we may limit, suspend, or terminate your access to AI features for any violation. If any content that violates these Terms is reported to us, we will act on it within 24 hours of receiving the report.

Any prompt or lyrics text you submit to the AI generation features must be your own original work or content that you are fully and lawfully authorized to use. You must not use copyrighted music, vocals, or lyrics belonging to others as a reference or source for generating variations or derivative works. If your input causes the generated music or lyrics to infringe the intellectual property rights (including copyright, performers’ rights, and the rights of producers of sound and video recordings), portrait rights, reputation, or any other rights of a third party, you alone bear all resulting legal consequences and any economic compensation.

Under current law and the policies of the relevant platforms, purely AI-generated content that lacks original human authorship is generally not protected by copyright law. Accordingly, you do not hold a complete or exclusive copyright in the lyrics or music you generate, and you must not register, promote, or enforce them as purely human-authored original works or use them to make bad-faith infringement claims against others. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a worldwide, royalty-free right to use the lyrics and music you generate for both commercial and non-commercial purposes, such as short-video soundtracks, social-media posts, and commercial projects.

AI-generated content is produced automatically based on your input and does not represent the views, positions, or endorsements of MixReels or our team. We do not advocate any opinion, statement, or material that may appear in generated content. Because of the nature of artificial intelligence, generated results may be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or unexpected, and identical or similar results may be produced for different users; we do not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or exclusivity of any generated content, which is provided on an “as is” basis. If a generated melody or lyric happens to resemble an existing protected work, neither MixReels nor the third-party model providers are liable for such coincidental similarity.

You are solely responsible for the input you provide and for reviewing, using, publishing, or distributing any AI-generated content. You must ensure that you hold the necessary rights to your input and that your use of generated content complies with applicable laws and does not infringe the rights of others.

6. Media Assets and Local Storage

MixReels relies on permissions such as Photos and Microphone to deliver editing features. The photos, videos, and audio you import for editing stay on your device, and unless you actively choose to share or back up a project, we do not automatically upload this local media. However, features that depend on our online services—such as your account, credits, and AI generation—necessarily transmit the related data (for example, the input you submit and the content that is generated) to our servers for processing, as described in Sections 2, 5, and 8 and in our Privacy Policy. Please keep your device and project files safe to avoid loss caused by device damage or loss.

7. Network and Devices

Certain MixReels functions—like update checks, fetching online assets, or verifying purchases—require an active network connection. You are responsible for any data charges from your carrier or third parties. We recommend using the app in a secure environment and keeping your device in good working order, including sufficient battery, storage, and a compatible OS version.

8. Third-Party Services

To improve stability and analyze product experience, MixReels may integrate vetted third-party SDKs or services (for example, crash analytics). Our AI-generation features are powered by third-party AI platforms, and the input you submit is transmitted to and processed by these providers to generate lyrics and music. Certain features also rely on cloud infrastructure to operate, and related data and content may be stored and processed on the global network of Cloudflare, Inc. These services follow their own terms and privacy policies. We strive to list major third parties in the app or on our website and require them to handle data within the agreed compliance scope.

9. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain the intellectual property rights and responsibility for any works created or exported through MixReels. MixReels, along with its logos, interface design, and underlying technology, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not use MixReels brand assets for commercial promotion or mislead users without permission.

10. Disclaimer

We work hard to keep MixReels stable and reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service on every device at all times. We are not liable for losses caused by force majeure, third-party failures, your own misuse, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

You understand that using MixReels may involve handling third-party materials and audiovisual content. If any copyright, privacy, or similar disputes arise from the assets you use, you must resolve them independently and bear all associated responsibility.

11. Updates, Suspension, and Termination

We may release updates or revise these Terms as needed for business or technical reasons. Keeping the app up to date ensures the best experience. When we publish updates or new Terms, your continued use of MixReels signifies acceptance of those changes.

If necessary—for example, due to security issues or violations of the Terms—we may restrict or terminate your access to the app or your account. Upon termination, you must stop using MixReels and uninstall it. If your account is terminated, we will handle any associated account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms according to laws, regulations, or business requirements. Significant changes will be highlighted prominently in the app. Unless required otherwise by law, updates take effect when published.
